The International Chinese Cardiovascular Anesthesia Forum was started by Professor Li LiHuan from Fuwai Hospital, a major cardiac centre in Beijing. His vision was to promote and network Chinese Cardiovascular anesthesiologists from all parts of China with the rest of the world. The 1st Forum was held in Beijing in August 2005 and in May 2006 in Taipei.

As in the past, lectures will be delivered either in English or Mandarin, and there will be powerpoint slide presentations in both English and Chinese as well.

We are expecting about 150 delegates from China, Taiwan and other representatives internationally. The Forum will lend a long way to promote cardiovascular anesthesia in this region.
